Seminar Description
We will review Commodity Jurisdiction, Classification and Licensing, Trade Embargoes, Denied Party Screening, Fines and Penalties, Creating an Effective Export Compliance Program, and Documentation and record keeping. There will also be a hands-on workshop to practice ECCN and licensing determinations, as well as a review of how to use ACE’s export reporting module. Bring your laptop!

About the Instructor
Norman Loubeck, Esq.
Senior Manager, Global Trade Advisory Services, Tradewin

Norm joined Tradewin in 2011. He has held the position of Trade Counsel for a logistics management firm and managed the Trade Compliance departments for several multinational corporations. Norm's technical background includes Import and Export Compliance, Free Trade Programs, C-TPAT implementation, and a broad spectrum of international trade topics. Norm holds a B.A. from Middlebury College and a J.D. from Suffolk Law School.
