Conference Description
Today’s international trade environment is one of constantly changing policy and high anxiety. Governments continuously work to protect their domestic industries resulting in a variety of countermeasures. U.S. remedies to foreign trade measures may take many forms including new tariffs, quota and by initiating non-tariff trade barriers. Our discussion will center on the impact of the U.S. government’s Section 301 provisions as well as other trade remedy actions.

Topics of discussion will center on the impact of the U.S. government’s Section 301 provisions as well as other trade remedy actions:

  • Section 201 Global Safeguards
  • Section 232 National Security
  • Section 301 China Trade Enforcement
  • Section 421 Trade Relief – Domestic Market Disruption
  • Mitigation Strategies
