We are glad to announce most of our systems are fully operational and we are conducting business per usual.

With Expeditors’ business continuity plan governing our operations, it is gratifying to acknowledge that all our core systems are either now online or are expected to be online by the end of the week. Our EDI and API connectivity and engagement with customers and service providers will further progress through the end of March. We recognize there is still much work to be done before we fully return to normal operations.

We remain grateful for the loyalty, support, and reassurance of our employees, customers, and external partners (including service providers, carriers, law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and commercial cybersecurity experts).

We continue to make further meaningful restoration and related progress with our business continuity plan coordinating our operations. Our enterprise brokerage, transportation, and accounting systems are online and are being integrated into our global operations. EDI connectivity is beginning to come online with order management, distribution, external portals, and other systems to follow. Systems resumption will continue to expand this week, and into the next few weeks barring unforeseen circumstances.

Our cooperation with law enforcement and collaboration with private sector security organizations continues in an effort to prevent future attacks.

We are overwhelmed by the perseverance and encouragement throughout and beyond our network.

Our response teams have made meaningful progress in restoration efforts after our recent cyber-attack. While at present we are operating within our business continuity plan, Expeditors anticipates our enterprise brokerage system will begin to come online this week, allowing our employees to support our clients using this system.

We are working to bring additional enterprise systems online and continue to operate on backup systems. EDI/API connectivity, transportation, accounting, and systems adjacent to brokerage, such as distribution, order management, and other related solutions, will be the next to come back online. Absent unforeseen circumstances, we currently expect that system resumption will continue this week and into the next few weeks ahead. 

Our work with law enforcement and private sector security organizations to help protect ourselves and others is ongoing.

Expeditors is making progress in returning to normal operations. Our teams continue to work around the clock to deploy robust immediate and longer-term solutions, in keeping with our business continuity plans, to restore our systems as soon as possible. We are now handling shipments and providing services across most products and expanding recovery across our locations. We recognize the challenges this incident has created within supply chains. Expeditors greatly appreciates the patience of our customers and service providers, and can assure you that we share the urgency of making our services available in a timely manner.
