Seminar Description
Today’s international trade environment is one of constantly changing policy and high anxiety. Governments continuously work to protect their domestic industries resulting in a variety of countermeasures. U.S. remedies to foreign trade measures may take many forms including tariffs, quota and initiating non-tariff barriers. Our discussion will center on the impact of the U.S. government’s Section 301 provisions as well as other trade remedy actions.

About the Instructor:
Jim Conrad joined Tradewin in 2009, continuing a successful career in international logistics and trade compliance that began in 1980. He has spent more than three decades in leadership roles overseeing international trade compliance including the positions of corporate Director of Operations and as Chairman of the Board of Directors for a large U.S. shipper’s association. Jim’s technical background covers a wide range of international trade areas. Jim has nearly 40 years in international trade, is a US Licensed Customs Broker and is a member of the International Compliance Professionals Association.
